Mum's condition is slowly deteriorating and it's tough for my sister to handle all the visiting and food and business on her own. This means that I won't be here on Sunday to say Mass again. I've left keys with Anthony for the church and I'll take care of the rent, so if someone wanted to organise a Logos liturgy on Sunday so the parish had a chance to come together and pray, you just need to go visit Anthony and he'll hand you the key. Please do try to meet, even if there's only a couple of you. It helps me feel less torn if I know that my absence doesn't mean that you folks don't get to be a community. See? I'll even try guilt to motivate you into the pews ;) Please keep us in your prayers, as you'll be in mine. I made the comment in my initial email about "helping me feel less torn" as a way to share how I was feeling, then made the joke about guilt as a way to let you know that I was aware it could be taken that way. I trust that you're all grown-ups who come or don't come as it seems appropriate to you and your own sense of your needs. Message-ID: <35565cab0807300100v4d50b35fx1517649dfffde601@mail.gmail.com> Hi Folks, I'm making a new page on the website with suggestions of worthwhile charities. I'm wondering if any of you have favourite charities you donate money or time to? It'd be great if you could say why you think it's a good charity to support. If you choose not to give money in that way and that's a considered decision, I'd value hearing about that too. Tim+ -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... That aside I like what they do, and how they go about it. Lifeline is so Important in my eyes as they offer counseling to people who could not receive it due to distance or circumstance. Doctors without borders & Red Cross for International charity These are some I like.. Thank you all for your support as my family and I deal with my mother's dying process. In Love and Light, Tim+ -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
