I'm planning to switch Avis to GPL v3 in the next release. I'd be interested in the opinions of anyone on list if they have any feelings pro or con. One small, but concrete advantage of v3 is that the LGPL is now just a set of exceptions to the GPL, rather than a separate license. Matt.
